- Use furniture covers over matresses, couches and chairs
- Use funiture covers or pads over table tops to prevent scratching
- Place frequently accessed items towards the front of your unit for easy access
- Label boxes on all sides for identification of items
- Avoid storing anything flammable such as gasoline
- Avoid storing perishable food items
- Place fragile items or boxes on top of heavier less fragile items.
- Use packing tape to seal boxes
- Avoid storing damp or wet items, avoid moving items to your unit during rainy weather.
